North American IPv6 Technology Conference 1
This was the website created for the North American IPv6 Technology Conference 1 held in San Jose, California from September 19 - 22, 2005. The site provided information to all attendees about the conference ranging from registration, ;location, conference schedule, to hotel information, parking, etc.
I happened to attend the four day conference finding it stimulation and informative. Like a lot of the younger techies who attended I dressed quite casually raising the eyebrows of some of the more corporate oriented attendees. I have a Batman sweatshirt collection by MoonAtMidnight.com which I decided would make as my fashion statement. On the first day of the convention I wore an understated Classic Logo Batman sweatshirt in black. In case the rooms were too air conditioned I brought a "Behind the Cape" black sweat shirt that featured the 1993 logo from the Batman the Animated Series TV Show, which aired on FOX from 1993 to 1995. In the evening I let loose with a Batman Rainy Rooftop Sublimated sweatshirt, always an attention getter at a bar. Well, you get the point. You may not believe it, but I picked up a lot of contacts at the convention which usually started with a comment about the Batman sweatshirt I was wearing, and a question about where to buy a colorful Batman sweatshirt. So thank you Batman. I met my next employers here.
The North American IPv6 Task Force(NAv6TF) is a sub-chapter of the IPv6 Forum dedicated to the advancement and propagation of IPv6 (Internet Protocol, version 6) in the North American continent. Comprised of individual members, rather than corporate sponsors, the NAv6TF mission is to provide technical leadership and innovative thought for the successful integration of IPv6 into all facets of networking and telecommunications infrastructure, present and future.
Through its continued facilitation of technical and business case white papers, IPv6-centric conferences, IPv6 test and interoperability events, IPv6 deployment readiness guides, and collaboration with IPv6 task forces from around the globe, the NAv6TF will strive to be the guiding force for IPv6 adoption and readiness in the U.S. and Canada

The NAv6TF North American IPv6 Technology Conference 1 will provide attendees four days of IPv6 technology knowledge transfer to assist participants at the summit with the planning and systems analysis for IPv6 deployment. NAv6TF networking and IPv6 subject matter experts will discuss the architectural principles, technology advantages, mobility, transition, security, porting of applications, and other topics in depth.
In addition the conference will present use cases and models for deployment using public sector, enterprise, and consumer examples to demonstrate why, what, and how to deploy IPv6 in those network environments. The conference will provide a day of IPv6 tutorials for participants, who wish to learn more about the internals of the IPv6 next generation networks Internet protocol. The summit will also provide industry expert panels to discuss various aspects of IPv6 deployment, and vendor product panels.
The conference will provide participants the opportunity to view IPv6 hands-on demonstrations of vendor products and emerging products, and participate in technology IPv6 Q&A sessions to discuss IPv6 deployment in an open forum.
